T Stands For Tuesday

Hi Everyone! I'm later than usual for T today since I am running in and out going to appointments and doing errands. I did pop home for a few minutes to have lunch and took one quick photo. It seems I am having a red day today...
although the tea tag is technically purple since I am drinking Darjeeling this afternoon. It is hot and humid today and I'm rushing around to finish before the predicted thunderstorms start.

I have been enjoying the cardinals flying around in our backyard. I even saw a pair today that I think are nesting in the tall hedges around our house. They inspired me to make this  suncatcher.

I'm even reading a book with a red cover!

Thanks for stopping by...sorry to be in such a rush, but I'll be by to visit everyone a bit later on!

Well I hope your day will have gone well Debbie and you got in before storms. It is near 90 here and some severe storm warnings have been issued til later this evening. I don't mind a good thunderstorm but do not want to have hail! Your sun catcher is gorgeous-and I do love red, and cardinals. Happy reading and a happy T day too!

Oh wow, Debbie. Now you know exactly why I saved the cardinal for your for Christmas. Your beaded sun catcher is really impressive. I dropped my jaw when I saw it.

Sorry I'm also late getting here. I had an unexpected errand to run that threw me behind. I would rather have been working on my SOC entry which is kicking my butt this week.

Thanks for sharing your tea and the book with us for T this Tuesday. I'd definitely call this a red letter day.

Cute suncatcher. I hope you didn't get caught in the rain. We aren't supposed to have any more until tomorrow. Every couple of days, it seems, are wet. Happy T-Day! :)

see you there! said...

Another beautiful beaded object. Very pretty. I too barely squeeked in for tea this week. Hope next week a bit calmer.

Super red theme in your nice photos Debbie!
Your beaded cardinal is WOWEE wonderful.
I enjoy seeing a pair of cardinals in our garden. For the first time this year I've watched the male give the female bits of food. At first I thought it was parent to young one, but then realized it must be lovebirds ;-)...so sweet.
Wishing you a Happy T Day eventho it's Thursday.
Must get back to work here soon.

p.s. we've been having some wicked wind and rain here in northern VA too...stay safe!
