Oh gosh Debbie!!!!!!! That is not good news for your plants. But I hope it will be warmer soon!!!! Wish you a happy and blessed easter :-)
I woke up to the same problem. Maybe the forsythia are hardy enough to not be bothered by this silly snow. The sun is shining super bright right now (yet the snow remains). I keep telling myself it will be gone by noon.
How sad for the forsythia. The first night it snowed at my place, I had no idea. The second night it was all over the news about how to cover and/or save your tender plants. Thankfully, the only things in bloom were my tulips, and you saw they survived beautifully. I hope the same for your forsythia, too.
So sad, and sorry that your winter is just not ending! Hope it soon gets better. Hugs, Valerie
I hope not Deb! We had the same snow! Our trees are budding too! Poor trees! Big Hugs ;o)
Looks like the same snow in my yard. Thankfully, the sun melted most of it by the afternoon. I'm tired of the cold, it needs to warm up before May don't ya think?!
Snow in some areas seems never ending this year. I imagine your are really done with it.Darla
Will it ever end? same here snow and snow........I think that day where it was almost 70 was summer. Now we are back to winterJanice
OOhhh nnnooo not more snow. Forsythias grow wild here. The yellow flowers take over the road sides. Hope yours makes it OK.Happy Easter DebNicole/Beadwright
oh dear...this is just going on too long! I do remember having snow on Easter before, but hope it doesn't happen this year! I was thinking the other day that if this were the 'first' snow of the year--it was very pretty--I would be delighted. but. this is just too much. Hang in there dear! have some tea and make a colorful mess with your art supplies! lol!
