T Stands For Tuesday--It's Spring!

It has been Spring according to the calendar for weeks now, but the trees, bushes, and flowers in my yard have not woken up yet.  The air is still too cold for other than a heavy coat, and while wind has been plentiful, the sun has been elusive.  Well, if it isn't ready to be Spring outside, I will make it Spring inside!

Join me for a cup of one of my favorites, Vanilla Chai Tea as I join Elizabeth for T Stands For Tuesday.
Violets are one of my favorite flowers and must have been a popular design in the previous generation's decor, too.  You may remember my previous post where I showed my mini plates & tea cup compared to the full size plate that was part of a china set that belonged to my parents.  I know I have showed the above cup before, but I am not sure if I mentioned that it was from a set that belonged to my father-in-law.  I find these patterns so much prettier than what I see around today.
Speaking of violets, here are three bunches that I just finished beading for a custom order.
Here they are displayed together in a vase. Another flower I have been playing around with are Lily of The Valley.  I've been exploring some alternate colors, rather than the more common white ones.
Here are some light pink ones,
and some light green ones.  I have only ever seen the white variety growing, but my research yielded these two color varieties that are natural, as opposed to dyed.  Any one know of any other natural colors?

I'll leave you with one last image of someone who stopped by to say hello....
Happy Spring and Happy T Day! Thanks for coming by!

What a gorgeous cup. And I've never tried Vanilla Chai, but it sounds wonderful.

Speaking of wonderful, those lilies of the valley are stunning. I've never seen any other than white, but the pink are beautiful.

Whoever ordered those violets is one lucky customer. They are really lovely.

Thanks for sharing your spring inspired T post today.

The cup is beautiful, and I love your beaded flowers. There are violets all over the meadows here, so pretty, some even grow in the little hollows in the roots of trees. Hope it soon warms up for you! Hugs, Valerie

Hello! I am waiting for it to look like spring too. We had 2 days of spring weather finally last week and now we are back to cooler weather and rain. Can't wait for it to come back and stay longer.
Your cup is pretty and so are the flowers you made. Nice job on them all.
My post is a spring time one also, maybe if we all do a spring one it will finally be spring. Have a great day!

Such a sweet cup of tea you're having in that lovely violet cup!
Your beaded flowers are fabulous...
Really beautiful!!!
They get me excited for the parade of flowers that is just beginning here in Virginia (our Spring has been slower than usual here too)
We have white and pink lily of the valley in the garden(I always think of my sweet mother in law as she gave us the pink ones which I had never heard of until then either)
I am looking forward to picking violets when they appear scattered around the garden...
I ♥ Spring
Happy T Day to you

Your bead flowers are stunning. Vanilla Chai must be yummy. I think I need to give it a try. Is that a bluebird on the tree branch? Hope Spring flowers will bloom soon.
Happy T day

Your cup is so pretty :) we have the little violas pop up everywhere--if I mow them over, they just grow right back! So hardy.
What a lot of beading, you are amazing! I have Lily of the Valley growing and the scent is crazy luscious :) I don't know of any other colours tho.

That is one beautiful cup. And so are your beaded flowers. I really like the green version of the lily of the valley. I don't think I've seen any other than white ones.

Hey Deb ;o) Happy Spring, I think? LOL! I am so behind in things! My computer is crazy today!
