Tea Stands For Tuesday-Fat Tuesday Edition

Hi Everyone!  It's Mardi Gras time! I am joining Tea Tuesday today with a more colorful beverage and a craft to get in the spirit!

I have been trying to drink more water lately and recently came across this flavored water drink.  No calories, no sugar, no carbs and pretty good tasting. This one is cranberry flavored. I also tried mango peach which is good, too.

This week I decided to create a Mardi Gras mask using polymer clay and some feathers I had in my stash.  Here is a better look:
In researching masks, I noticed that the trio of gold, purple & green are often used together.  I hand formed all the parts which is why it might look a little wonky, LOL, and used a design plate for the design on the right.  The feathers were baked right into the clay.  I plan to use this on the color of an altered book that I am planning to start soon on celebrations/ holidays.

Thank you, once again, to Elizabeth and Bluebeard for organizing T(ea) Stands for Tuesday! It also gives me a (sometimes much needed) push to keep creating! Here is this week's post. Stop by and see what everyone else is up to!

Wow, it looks like great minds think alike. Seems Mardi Gras is a good theme today.

I love the mask. When I made Mardi Gras tip-ins in the past, those were the colors associated with Mardi Gras, so those were the ones I used for my pages. I can't wait to see your latest AB. You make such lovely art, I'm sure it will be the perfect addition to your Vacation AB.

Thanks for sharing your Mardi Gras inspired T today.

Great mask. I'm intrigued by the idea of baking the feathers with the clay. The mask will be great on a book cover.
