Tea Stands For Tuesday

Chili is cooking in the crock pot for dinner!

Chocolate chip cookies with sliced almonds are baked to take to a friend's house where we will share a cup of tea and a nice afternoon!

Finally, a little piece of tea art to share with Elizabeth and Bleubeard and all of my Tea Tuesday friends!
I am happy to finally be able to get out of the house for something other than food shopping and Church, although those are both very worthy outings.  It will be nice (and hopefully mood lifting) to do something fun before the next wave of snow arrives on Thursday with a 100% chance of significant accumulations of 4-8 inches.

Happy T(ea) Day--I'll be around to visit everyone tonight!

Looks like you have made something very yummy! Enjoy your outings, and hope the weather will not turn too bad again. I am so sorry that you are all suffering so badly with your awful weather. Hugs, Valerie

Yep, we are still trying to shovel out from under 4 inches of confirmed snow. This time we had ice in between snows, too. The good news is, by this weekend, we should be above freezing, which should make you happy knowing the warmth is also heading your way.

I adore that beautiful card you created. I like that your friendship is free, too. I'm glad YOUR home is warm. Mine is still struggling to get up to 50 F, even though the heat never turns off.

May I have one of those delicious looking cookies? Although I'm not much for sweets, I would gladly take a cookie off your hands (grin).

Hope you had fun out and about today. Sounds uplifting.

Thanks for taking time to share tea, art, and cookies with us today, dear Debbie.

Hello and Happy T day! Those cookies are making me hungry. How nice to be going out somewhere, I don't get out much either in this cold. Glad my church is close enough so I don't have to miss going.
LOVE THE CARD and SENTIMENT!!

Hope it was a good day!

Looks wonderful. Perhaps we could swap weather for a while. It is so hot and the air is full of smoke and I'm tired of it too, lol

I love what you created Deb! Is it an aceo? It's so precious! Those cookies look so good! What's in the pot? ;o) Please take it easy ;o) The weather man told us today, that next week, we are getting a big warm up! Almost 10 degrees higher! If this happens, a lot of snow will be melting! Big Hugs ;o)

Your cookies look mighty good. I haven't baked cookies in ages because I tend to eat too many of them. What a great card, love the verse.

Hey if I could I would be over snow or not. LOL Yes getting out for fun is a must when you are having so much snow. We have been in a warm spell this winter. Not much rain or wind and my electric bill has been lower than the last 6 years. Crazy weather.
Stay warm and safe
