New Jewelry

I'm taking it a little easy this week to have time to do some much needed cleaning, laundry, etc. This coming weekend is our daughter's graduation and as we will also be moving her out of college, I don't want to be exhausted. Since I can never quit creating "cold turkey" I'm trying to do some smaller projects--I have the gold beads on order and still have to make those custom order fern leaves! Anyway, here is my newest beaded pendant. I love the color combination of pink and gray. To me, it is very feminine and romantic.

Of course, I used my favorite beading fabric--Nicole's Bead Backing and also techniques that I learned from Nicole's very generous tutorial on layering.

You are so sweet Debbie. Thank you for crediting me for the technique. You have used it well. This is a gorgeous piece. I love pink and grey together. Wow I remember the day you drove your daughter to college and now she is coming home. I know you are a proud mama.

It's delightful and, alhough I had not thought of pink and grey being feminine, actually it is very much so. It's a lovely piece.

Beautiful ♥ This looks like a contemporary cameo with mountain influence. Wherever you got the idea to make this bead and gem combo, it's a good one!

Have a wonderful time over graduation and all that involves.

I love this! You need to rest up. My daughter's graduation was this past weekend and boy am I exhausted. The graduation had 1,000 graduates and lasted 3 hours under threatening skies. And then came the party afterwards. I believe I slept 15 hours last night! :-)

Oh Debbie, I'm so far behind on visiting. I'm glad to read you are taking it easy, catching up on home things this week. I look forward to seeing photos of your daughter's "first" graduation photos. After all, there will be more of those to come.

Your pendant is superb. I can't even begin to imagine how you have the patience to make things that look this beautiful. You are a very gifted lady!!
