Boy, the months sure go fast! I tried a different brand of clay to see how it acted, but I was not as pleased. It was a little too soft to sculpt with. I think I will begin mixing it in with my other clay to make it firmer. This froggy has a pair of floppy legs, lol!
I'm really enjoying working through these books. They are inspiring me to keep on creating! Another heart and another dragon just came out of the clay oven and are waiting to be introduced next week!
Have a happy creative weekend everyone!
PS-I've linked up with the Artist Play Room whose challenge this week just happens to be blue & orange. I had forgotten about it (must have created this subliminally) until Darla called it to my attention. Thanks, Darla!

Ribbit is totally gorgeous, love him! Hugs, Valerie
He is totally adorable! I love him! Too bad about the new brand of clay 8(
It'll be great to see your new dragon and heart!
I've been unable to leave comments on your blog until now. Something is wrong, because I had to hold the post down, since it kept jumping when I let go. Very strange.
I love the bug from a previous post. And that flower is a perfect pink, too. Simply a great example of pink.
Of course, your cute frog from the jungle is awesome. Love it, and Darla knew what she was talking about, that's for sure.
OMG he is just the cutest ever! I'm in love with froggie. great job! it's always so disappointing when a new art supply product isn't what one hoped for. Hopefully you can still use it by mixing it with other clay.
such a spectacular frog and I LOVE the colour theme.
Cool! I love the lively expression and colors in your frog. Blessings!
Visiting from the APR - what a wonderful frog. He looks like he's ready to enter the local carnival, his colours are wonderful Mo :0)
Deb, I totally love this little guy!!! Really I do!! He is so happy! I can't wait to see your new heart and dragon! We had another storm yesterday. And, today, I thought I would work on the taxes and the disk from the program wouldn't work! Uggg!! Hopefully tomorrow! Have a great weekend ;o) Hugs ;o)
I forgot to say, I am sorry, the new clay didn't work out!! I still love Mr. Floppy legs ;o) LOL!
Oh, he is so handsome!!! So well done Debbie. Good you could blend your clay brands to a firmer clay!!!!
I love your cheeky frog, and the idea of the floppy legs. It must be fun to pick him up and get the surprise of the legs moving.
I feel I can hear the suction sound (can't think of a word for it) he would make as he lifts his legs if he could really hop along. Great fun.
This little frog is absolutely adorable! :-)
Wow - great little guy! Looks like one of those beautiful, but deadly tree frogs :)
I think he is really adorable! Love the bright spring colors!
Love your frog. I thought he was glass because he's so shinny.
He is so gorgeous, just love him.
Von.
That is crazy cute... we have been inundated with frogs lately due to all the rain... none as cute as this one though ...xx
what a wonderfully bright and cheerful frog!
He's SO very happy! Love him!
Isn't he the cutest...I know everyone has already said it but that's what happens when you're late visiting. Apologies Debbie I'll try to do better in future.
The colour combo of 'Blorange' works so well for this little guy but I do worry about his floppy legs!
I'm so jealous that you have a clay oven...how cool is that?
I used to love pottery and would love to get back into it!
Have a wonderful week :D
