I'm still here!

Just wanted to check in and say hello! By now, most of you have figured out that I went on vacation...that took up two weeks of blogging absence. I'll be writing some posts on where we went and all the inspiration I picked up along the way. When I returned home, I had two custom orders plus an order out of my Etsy shop waiting for me, so I took the additional two weeks to concentrate on them and helping our daughter prepare for her trip to England. Regular readers of my blog may remember that she was accepted into a 6-week summer seminar at Trinity College, Oxford University. It was a whirlwind two weeks of haircuts, some shopping, hosting a barbeque for her boyfriend and his parents, and hosting her boyfriend for an additional two days. We also had a retirement/graduation family party to attend. The two weeks went far too fast!

I missed reading all of your blogs and will catch up as soon as I can. I did not manage to keep up with the ICAD--I think I may just wait until next time--too much pressure. I'm a few weeks behind on my AB, there were some exciting lessons while I was gone, and with all the new places we visited, I have lots of inspiration for pages.
I also have some wonderful art that was sent to me to show off soon.

Until Monday then...Have a wonderful, creative weekend!

Blog Break!

Always remember to live in the moment; life is much more fulfilling this way. -Unknown

Time for a blog break! I'm off re-stocking, re-rejuvenating, re-charging, re-energizing, re-invigorating, re-motivating, refreshing, renewing, re-storing, reviving, and just in general taking a blog break!

Will return soon!

My Kind of Challenge!

"Human improvement is from within outward."--James A. Froude

I'm taking Daisy Yellow's ICAD challenge! ICAD stands for Index Card A Day, and basically you create one index card a day as a means to forming a habit of creating every day. No big rules, join in whenever, use her prompts, or not. This will be extra challenging for me as you will learn in about two weeks...

Want to know more? Want to join in? Go to Daisy Yellow's Blog to learn all about it!

Have a happy, creative weekend everyone!
