APR Challenge-Turquoise & Lime

Jenn from Just Add Water Silly is the curator of the Artist's Play Room challenges. This week she chose a color challenge using Turquoise & lime.

I love turquoise....lime? not so much, but I was game to try and participate this week. I used a piece of turquoise bead backing by Nicole and beaded around a pretty polymer clay cabochon made by Lori of Out of The Flames. Since the blue in the cab was not truly turquoise, I surrounded the cab with Czech faceted glass beads & seed beads in sapphire. I backed the piece with soft leather & surrounded it with as limey a bead as I could stand. Here is the result:
Thanks for the inspiration Jenn!

This is one of my favorite color pallets. Love what you did with it- I think it's my favorite piece I've seen yet!

Ahh as soon as I saw your photo I knew this cab was made by Lori. Thank you for using my NBB. You are a true friend.

Ah, I KNEW you would enter this week. Lovely piece that truly fits this THEME. I'm not playing, just visiting this week, as well as with IA.

Not sure you know, but zentangles are the very worst thing I can do to my hand. I can't grip, so trying to grip forces me to tighten up, which eventually causes hand spasms, which puts me out of action for days on end. Tried it once, won't ever do it again. Love BOTH your entries, though. Will admire from afar.

Just a beautiful piece, it should sell like hot cakes! THanks for doing the challenge even though you don't love the colors, it's hard to work in colors that arent your favorites.
Best,
Jenn
