Linda of Gemma's House is co-hosting the IA Challenge this week with Hettienne. She asked that we be inspired by celebrations honoring the sun and the upcoming season of Spring. My interpretation is simply the first flower of Spring, a rebirth, in sunshine yellow: Crocuses!

Don't forget to click on the IA link above and visit all the other artists participating this week. Play along if you wish--new challenges are posted on Mondays & you have until Noon the following Sunday to link up!
Have a happy, creative weekend everyone, and thanks Linda for a fun challenge!

Such beautiful flowers. I happen to wonder: How many beads are there in these flowers? A silly question, but it seems like a lot of work!! Happy to see that you are on the creative track again!!! Happy weekend Debbie!!
I am always in awe at your beaded creations! Love this bright harbinger of Spring! :-)
Debbie, these are stunning! Another winner! Lone had a great question! How many beads to you think are in each flower? Happy weekend Deb ;o)
Beautiful!
Lone...too many to count! But I would guess, at least 4000+ yellow in the 3 of these. It is a labor of love, for sure!
I answered above...Plus another 3000+ for the green!
Sunshine in a jar... awesome Debbie :)
I love to see these flowers in the store, lots of little pots in pretty colors, then Spring can't be far behind. Beautiful work, Debbie!
Wow Debbie!! That's a lot of beads!!!
MMM love yellow crocuses.

So pretty.

They are just SO lovely!!!! I love that bright yellow. I adore crocuses...you really brought them to life!
Such amazing work! Can't believe all those beads.... I've done a little beading here and there and can't imagine the effort and time that goes into these little gems.
I could live a 1000 years and never have patience to make those beautiful flowers with all those tiny beads! I bow down!
Gorgeous!

I adore the happy yellow in a grey winter.
These are beautiful and if this doesn't say spring I don't know what would.

wow wow wow! they are gorgeous and so full of sunshine!
Debbie, as always, I am in total AWE of your talent, your beadwork, and of course your take on sunshine. Great entry for this challenge. Sorry I'm so late getting here. I'm having all kinds of ISP problems this week.
Absolutely gorgeous!!
You continue to amaze me with the intricate work, Debbie. And crocuses! The perfect sign of spring. Beautiful.♥♥♥
Crocuses are so pretty! And that beadwork is very detailed, I love detail. Wonderful reminder from you that some of the brightest sun's rays actually come from within the earth, and in this case, plants.
