More Valentine's Day Additions!

Here are a few more things just added to the shop for Valentine's Day....
Above is an ACEO created with red & green US postage stamps, with a special heart stamp in the middle. I've collected stamps for years, and this is a perfect way to use some of the more imperfect ones!

Not sure if I showed this before, but this is another glass cabochon created by Linda at papernclay. I beaded around it with Czech fire polish beads & seed beads. It is backed with matching red leather.

Well, the snow totals for today range from 3-5" to 12-20"-- I guess we will just have to wait it out and see! Hope you are staying warm where ever you are!

I love what you did with the stamps - ingenious! The beaded cabochon is awesome! I love the black and red together and the ribbon for the necklace is great! Have fun with all that snow, we got hit yesterday and I just tried to ignore that it was snowing. I am dreaming of warm and sunny days!

Thanks EB Bead! I'd like to ignore the snow but I am on pins and needles thinking about having to drive my daughter 2 1/2 hours northeast back to college on Sunday!

Thanks Kristen & Deb...I love creating with the stamps! I've also done keepsake boxes with a similar technique.

Hey Debbie, love them both!! I like how you did the beads across the pendant. Where are your skulls?? ;o) We are getting lots of snow here too! The hot water tank gave out yesterday, so there has been no hot water! Hopefully will get fixed today!!!

Thanks Stacy! LOL--The skulls are still in the thinking stage! Oh no! I hope your water tank gets fixed today! Keep warm and keep painting!

My sister Laurel works a lot of paper art magic and for Christmas I bought her some old stamps I came across in a local antique store. What you've turned stamps into is absolutely amazing! So clever!

Yay Stacy! I'm glad you got the hot water back!

Thanks,Lynn. It's a great way to use stamps that are too imperfect to collect!

I know Shelle, I've certainly had enough--third storm since Christmas!

Beautiful Debbie, The stamps have a very romantic appeal. Very charming. Love the flatwork glass piece as well. I love black red and white together.
