No White Christmas!

We did not have a white Christmas this year, but we are certainly having a white day after--We are in the middle of a huge blizzard which could drop anywhere from 12" to 18" depending upon where you are located. I think we are in the lower end of that estimate, but with blowing winds it will probably seem like more.

Our Christmas Eve was wonderful. My Dad always spends it with us and after Church we cook up lots of fish, zeppoles, and linguine (with clam sauce, of course). The kind of fish varies from year to year, but we always have clams, shrimp, baccala (cod) salad which I make, & calamari salad. This year we also had some lobster cakes, stuffed scallops, and spicy shrimp rolled in corn tortillas!

Christmas Day was another food fest with friends...tons of appetizers, manicotti, ham with sweet potato casserole, and deserts to sink a ship! Lots of laughing, too!

All this work and eating was fun, but now I am ready to get back to crafting! Accordingly, I have put my whole Etsy shop on sale for 40% off.  Be sure to use the coupon code   POSTCHRISTMAS40SALE which is also listed in my shop announcement and is valid until midnight Dec. 31.

Happy Shopping!

Oh I think we need to talk because you can't possibly be too far from where I am. We have had snow with little accumulation for 3 days but the noreaster will miss us here. Happy New Year and stay safe!

Thank you, Lone! It did not turn out to be too bad--about 8" or so! The temperature is going to get warmer, so hopefully a lot will melt!

So happy to hear you had a lovely holiday! We ended up with a little Christmas surprise, too - a blizzard the day after. Received about a foot. Looks so pretty! Theresa
