I made Wheat over the weekend!

I spent a very productive weekend making wheat. No I wasn't baking...I was beading! A fellow blogger custom ordered some to give as a gift. Here is the first one I made as an example:
And here are 1 dozen all completed! She plans to put them in a teapot that has a wheat pattern & I am sure they will look great!

I also put the finishing touches on four angels for the Connecticut show. I made two more beaded pendants for necklaces, two ACEOs and experimented with some clay...all of which I will show you later in the week.

So what did you do over the weekend?

Wheat?! Girl, there is nothing you can't do, is there???!! The stalks are perfect!!

Your angels are so sweet - I love how they look all together.

I took my very first watercolor painting class this weekend. It's something I've always wanted to learn. I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to learning more about it. I doubt I'll ever be good at it, but I can at least say I tried, right? lol

Yep, just what I need, another hobby!

As for making them to sell... At the moment I will make them if custom ordered until I can find a better source for the gold wire. As you can imagine, they use quite a bit!
